Likelihood of broader support following Kraken acquisition?

As the title mentioned. I would like to know if there's internal talks or debates on broadening NT support to other platforms like OSX. For as much as I love NT I am considering moving to other platforms which have OSX support (nowadays basically all of them do), and I do think NT is doing itself a disservice of sorts for not offering that.

Having people forced into using Windows is pretty antiquated if you ask me and I am hoping that the Kraken acquisition may have the team broaden its support.

At this time there is no information we have to share regarding the subject at hand - please consider things business as usual for now. Please know that while NinjaTrader Desktop is exclusive to Windows, you can use NinjaTrader Web on any supported browser including Apple's Safari application.


I know that it's not the same as if you had native MacOS support but it is an alternative while still being able to trade your NinjaTrader account as needed. If you'd like to know more about NinjaTrader Web please visit the following link.

Thank you for your prompt response. I presumed as much which is unfortunate really.

I'm an algorithmic trader and web as far as I'm aware does not allow for any of those functionalities so the web application isn't of much use to me. The only solution I see is to literally build my own NT version on OSX using the NT API at which point it likely makes more sense to move over to another platform . I appreciate the response though.
