Adding new instruments using schwab error

Hello I am having problems adding new instruments that are not already listed on ninjatrader for example TQQQ a stock with over 100M Daly volume, I can add it, Do the mapping and use in a strategy and the strategy will fill the order but it will never show up in the positions tab (And yes it's set to see all accounts) the order tab will show the filled order the strategy tab will display the unrealized and you can open a chart and the buy marker will be there, but positions tab will be blank, so if I want to flatten the position I have to do so using my schwab broker account, it does not do this in sim101 just live trading account. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Based on what you’ve described, there are a few key reasons why your filled live orders for a custom instrument like TQQQ might not be appearing in the Positions tab, even though they do in Orders, Strategy, and charts:




Simulated orders vs. live orders


The fact that this issue does not occur with Sim101, but does in live trading, suggests it could be related to account synchronization or instrument mapping not fully aligning in live mode.


Instrument Mapping & Live Market Data


Ensure the instrument you added (e.g. TQQQ):

• Has correct exchange mapping for your live broker connection
• Is receiving live market data

Go to Tools > Instruments, search for your custom instrument (e.g., TQQQ), and ensure that under the Mappings section, it includes a valid symbol for your live connection.

If the mapping is wrong or missing, NinjaTrader may not track the live account position properly.

Hello if I can open a chart does this mean I have live data? if not how do I check? thanks!
