    number of audio alerts on indicators no longer playing?

    As is always the case, this new issue seemed to just come out of nowhere


    Suddenly, audio alerts of most (but not all) on my indicators no longer play?

    I'm wondering if there was some sort of update to ninja or something which changes something about how audio alerts work?

    I downloaded the newest version yesterday just in case but no change

    Curious if anyone else here has noticed the same issue?? Very strange

    Thank you for the message.

    If the Alerts were part of 3rd party indicators, then you would want to reach out to the developer of those add-ons and ask them why they randomly stopped working and what would need to be done to make them work as expected again.If you look in the Control Center > Log tab, are the any errors or messages that would explain why you no longer hear the Alert?


    If the Alerts are using the NinjaTrader Alerts system, are any of the conditions configured with a 3rd party add-on? If you change the settings to use only default NinjaTrader indicators, does the Alert start to trigger again?

    If the Alert is still not triggering, try setting up a really basic Alert using a Horizontal line and the current price and set it to trigger if the prices Crosses Above or Crosses Below and test if it works.

    If the basic Alert is still not triggering, open NinjaTrader in Safe Mode and recreate the same Alert test and see if the behavior continues in Safe Mode.
    At this point, if you are only using default NinjaTrader items and the Alerts are still not triggering, then please send an email directly to Support[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]com with pictures of how your Alert is set up so we may provide further insight.

    If this Alert is coming from a 3rd party add-on or indicator, then you would have to continue working with the developer for further insight.
