MIT orders

Hello , I was wondering if MIT orders are kept on Exchange servers or is it kept locally on my PC till trigger time?

These will require your NinjaTrader platform and PC to be active in order for these to trigger as these are held locally until the trigger is met.

Thank you for your response . Is this the same case with Simulated Stop orders?

I just noticed when MIT order is place while connected to IB then the order stays on their servers even when I shut down NT8 and TWS ( IB platform) but This is not the case with Ninjatrader brokerage via Continnum feed , Can you explain why ?

I'm not familiar with how Interactive Brokers handles their orders outside of what is available here. As far as NinjaTrader goes, these are not supported natively through the connection and a limitation of the underlying connection.
