    Impossible import indicator - access to path denied

    Dear Team,

    I am suddenly unable to import script-on on NT8. I tried to move the file in various folder but always the same message you see on the screenshot. I already follow previous post eliminating NT8 from onedrive and reinstall.

    Any suggestion? I am getting crazy on it!

    Thank you for posting.

    Please use the following steps to create a new tmp folder:
    • Close NinjaTrader then
    • Go to Documents->NinjaTrader 8
    • Right click on the tmp folder->Rename->Rename this folder tmpOld
    • Right click in the widow->New->Folder->name the new folder tmp
    • Open NinjaTrader
    • Import your add-on
    ​If the error persists this may be due to Controlled Folder Access being enabled on your PC.

    To disable this feature click the Windows Key on your keyboard > Search for "Controlled Folder Access" > Click on "Controlled Folder Access" > Turn "Controlled Folder Access" off->Reboot your PC then attempt to import the add-on again.

      Dear, here again.

      I wast trying to import a new indicator and this is what appeared (see screenshot). Any suggestion? for the previous problem your solution worked!

        This message indicates that there are NinjaScript errors on your platform that need to be resolved before you can import or edit any others. To begin resolving this, do the following:
        • Go to the Control Center > New > NinjaScript Editor
        • Right-click in the NinjaScript Editor > select 'Compile'
        You should see some errors in orange appear at the bottom of the window. Expand this window so that as many of these error messages, if not all of them, are visible. Please attach a screenshot of these errors.

        A visual walkthrough of this process along with solutions to common compile errors may be found here in our Help Center.​

        To capture a screenshot I would recommend using Window's Snipping Tool.

        Alternatively to capture a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screen shot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and attach the file to your reply.

          Hi,

          attached 2 screenshot with some errors. It seems they are NT default indicator. Already try to follow all the steps on your guide but the compilation error impossible to resolve. Any suggestion?

            Please use the steps provided below to repair your installation:
            • Close NinjaTrader
            • Go to your Windows Control Panel
            • Select "Uninstall a program"
            • Select NinjaTrader 8
            • Click Repair
            • Once completed open NinjaTrader
            • Compile
            ​Please let me know if the issue persists after this procedure.
