Can't stop or end connection to playback

Hi there. I can't start a "Live" connection or connect to anything else. When I attempt to I get an Error message saying: LIve: You can't connect while having an open 'Playback Connection' connection (Panic). I have tried to end the playback connection but it won't go away. If I logout and log back in, the Playback controls window (with the play button, speed, etc) is open by default. I even tried to end the playback with Task manager, which removed the window, but when I try and set up a connection to Live it returns the above mentioned Error message. Would love some help and input. Thanks.

Thank you for the message.

You should be able to go to the Control Center > Connections menu > click the disconnect next to the Playback connection.

• Once the green "connected" circle goes away, you can click on any other connections within the "Connections" menu and wait to connect

It sounds like you may have the "Connect on startup" setting selected for the Playback connection which is causing the platform to automatically open and connect to it.

Please check and disable the setting, then restart NinjaTrader and test again.

• Go to the Control Center > Connections > configure
• In the 'Configured' List, click on the Playback Connection > Uncheck the "Connect on startup" setting > Click Apply and OK
• Now, restart NinjaTrader and test

If the behavior continues after the steps above, please record a short video of you signing in > Opening NinjaTrader > Then, you trying to disconnect from one connection and then connecting to the other. Then, include the video in your reply.
