    Need another set of eyes - Discrepancy NT desktop and mobile

    Hallo,
    I am trying for over a week to get something resolved with one of the support team but the answers are not satisfactory. I made screenshots, videos, tried to explain it but either I am not good with explaining it, or he just doesn't understand my problem.

    So could please some other person of the support team can have a look at this?

    It is about the Micro Dax. Especially the 15 minute timeframe. I know that one platform (mobile or desktop) starts the bar at let's say 08:00 and the other platform at 08:15. This is NOT the problem I try to explain.

    A new bar on both platforms should still start at the same moment! They should start to form simultaneously.

    But in the case of 15 minute Micro Dax, they do not start (or finish) simultaneously! This can not be expected behaviour!

    I include a short video. In this video you can see on the left side the desktop platform and on the right the mobile platform, both at exactly the same time.

    You will see that while the bar on the desktop still needs 5 minutes to finish and start a new bar according to the bar timer, but the new bar on the mobile version has already started.

    The Desktop Platform builds bars at the Close while the Web and Mobile Platforms will use the starting time for the bar.

    Unfortunately, there is no way to change this at this time.


    The development team is aware of the desire to be able to adjust this setting and already has a feature request to add this in the future.

      As I said in the beginning. This is not the issue here. I know that Desktop prints at close while mobile at the start. Please read my post again and look at the video.

        Hello maggo123,

        Thank you for the update.

        After further investigation, it appears this could be happening for one of two reasons:
        • The Trading Hours template in the Desktop Platform is offsetting the bar times
        • And/or, we are aware of a specific behavior with EUREX products where the bars are shifted from the Trading Hours after 6:00 pm CST on the Web and Mobile Platforms.
        Within NinjaTrader Desktop:
        • Right-click the chart > Click Data Series > Look at what Time frame > Trading hours Template is selected
          • If it is "Use instrument settings" > Go to the Control Center > Instruments > Search that instrument > Double-click the result > Look at what the "Default trading hours template" is
        • Now, go to the Control Center > Tools > Trading hours > Find that Template from the list on the left and Click it
        • If the Start time each day is offset by 5, 10, or 15 minutes, that would explain the offset that continues through the day.
          • Either use another Trading Hours template that has times that start at :00
          • Or, click the current template > Copy it > Give it a unique name > Then, edit the start times as desired > Click OK
        • After making the changes to the Trading Hours template, right-click the background of the chart > Select "Reload all historical data"

        As for the data on the Web and Mobile Apps:
        • The matter is slotted to be addressed in a larger project to consolidate and improve our data services.
        • There are many concurrent projects in the works right now, and unfortunately, an ETA cannot be offered at this time.
