Stoploss accidently triggered on automated strategy

    Hello,

I've been using multiple ninjascript strategies for the past 6 months + and have never had any problems with the execution. Today, one of my strategy triggered a stop loss a good 3-4 ticks before ever hitting the stop loss target. This strategy has take 100s of trades and this has never happened. The margin requirement is ok, the log and execution tab only suggest a stop loss.

The only situation I understand that could've created this was that some of my other strategies have also triggered a stop loss (correctly) at that level. How is this possible? The strategies has no way of communicating between each other and they are all set up on different accounts.

    Thanks in advance.

      Hello clarocque1,

Thank you for posting on the NinjaTrader forums.

Please submit your request to clientservices@ninjatrader[dot]com for further investigation. We'll want to take a look at your Log and Trace files so we can verify the events leading up to the trade(s) in question.

Instructions on how to send your files below:
      1. Press the "Windows Key + E" on your keyboard to open the Windows File Explorer.
      2. Go to Documents/NinjaTrader
      3. Left-click on the "log" folder to highlight it.
      4. Right-click and select "Compress to ZIP file"
      5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 with the "trace" folder
      6. Send these .zip files as attachments to your email response.

Thank you in advance! We look forward to assisting further.
