Indicators Missing After Update

I just ran the NT update 8.1.4.2 64-bit and now all of my custom indicators, including the ones I wrote myself, are now gone. Can you instruct me on how to recover them? I don't even see them listed anymore.

I rely on those indicators and they were a lot of work to code so I hope there's a solve. I had run many updates in the past without issue.

Thank you for posting on the NinjaTrader forums.


It is not expected for indicators to just disappear, the whole intent is for users to update the platform and leaving the NinjaTrader files uninterrupted, this is why there are two different locations for NinjaTrader.


In this case, please direct your request to clientservices@ninjatrader[dot]com and attach your Log and Trace files using the instructions below:

1. Press the "Windows Key + E" on your keyboard to open the Windows File Explorer.
2. Go to Documents/NinjaTrader
3. Left-click on the "log" folder to highlight it.
4. Right-click and select "Compress to ZIP file"
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 with the "trace" folder
6. Send these .zip files as attachments to your email response.

I have sent the files as requested. However, to clarify, the code for the indicators is still on my hard drive, but NinjaTrader will not load them onto the chart. Additionally, the indicator browser does not display them in the list, making it seem as if they are no longer compatible.
