Low delta/volume when using orderflow

Hello dear traders!

I am an relatively unexperienced trader trying to learn orderflow.

During recent times i have ran into an issue with my orderflow charts; i have almost no volume and delta seen on the footprint summary chart.
The highest delta ive ever seen on historical data is only like 500, but 99% of the candles have like ~20 delta.

Could this be caused by my data providers, as im trying to use only free data because im only testing as of now, like the free kinetick eod data and i have also made a free trial account on interactive brokers?
Will this issue be solved by getting an proper data provider?

Thank you for the message.

The "Kinetick - End of Day (Free)" only provides Daily bars. So, a Minute or Tick based chart would not work with this connection.

• It doesn't give real-time data either.
• So, this connection would most likely not work for what you are trying to do.

The "Simulated Data Feed" is a completely made up connection that the user has control over with the "Trend Slider"

• The data this makes is controled by that slider and can be moved up or down to make the markets move up or down.
• This connection is good for testing ATM Strategies and other features when the markets are closed
• Otherwise, it is not a good connection to practice trading on because it doesn't work like a normal connection.

So, from your description, it sounds like the unwanted behaviors should be resolved by getting a real-time data feed.
