Open NT8 windows - screen fitment

I have an issue that I've lived with and only inquiring about it now. On my laptop, I have several open NT8 windows maximized to my laptop screen size. When I close my laptop lid and open it back up, my open NT8 windows are larger than my laptop screen. I have to re-maximize each open window to fit my laptop screen/resolution. I have a 16" laptop screen at 2560 x 1600 resolution.

Does anyone else have this issue and, if so, how to correct? It doesn't impact functionality of the NT8 app, but it is an annoyance.

Thank you for the message.

While this behavior may affect NinjaTrader, there are no settings within the platform to adjust or affect that behavior.

This sounds more like your Laptop's display settings or driver turns off or changes size once closed. Then, when the screen comes back on from reopening, it tries to readjust and doesn't succeed.

From here, you would have to reach out to a Windows or PC technician to get their help finding out what is happening when you close the lid and how to avoid it from adjusting the size of the windows when it comes back.


Otherwise, you could not shut the laptop lid while NinjaTrader is active.
