Can't run Backup - trace folder too big

I have been having trouble doing Backups lately.

My March 7th backup was 15 GB but all the more recent ones have stalled out around 200 GB with the message that my hard drive was too small.

Looking through Properties in my NT8 folder: NT8 folder is 466 GB.

The trace folder is 447 GB - is that normal?

I did a fairly recent reinstall of NT8.1.3.1, if that's pertinent. I deleted the Caches in db, reset all my Sim Accounts and closed some charts and tabs - trace folder remains at 447GB.

I looked in the trace folder. Starting on March 14, 2-4 238MB text documents are created every minute in the trace folder. This runs through March 15th then seems to go back to normal. Previously there were much smaller text documents created and not every minute. Can I delete the March 14 & 15th trace folders text documents?

Any suggestions? Thank you for any help.

Yes, the trace folder can start creating some pretty large files, no harm in removing these to recover your disk space. Also recommend updating to version 8.1.4.2 when you have a moment as well.
