Control Center - Margin

Which margin # should I be looking at in the control center to know how much margin I still have before my account auto liquidates? I currently have selected to show - Excess Intraday Margin, Excess Initial Margin, Intraday Margin, and Initial Margin. Unfortunately, I received a message that I was close to auto liquidation (I have a very small account since I'm new). In the message it gives me the Day Margin Requirement. However, it doesn't give me an option to add exactly this to the control center. Is it Excess Intraday Margin, Excess Initial Margin, Intraday margin or Initial Margin that is the same as Day Margin Required? Or is it something different? Thanks!

Thank you for the question.

If you're receiving a warning about liquidation and the message includes your Day Margin Requirement, the most relevant value for your situation in the Accounts tab is: Excess Intraday Margin


This value represents how much capital you have available above the Intraday Margin Requirements. Once Excess Intraday Margin reaches zero or becomes negative, you’re at risk of auto-liquidation during the trading day.

Here's a quick breakdown of the margin columns:

Intraday Margin	The margin required to hold your current positions intraday
Excess Intraday Margin	How much margin is left after accounting for your current positions intraday (this is the one that matters for liquidation)
Initial Margin	Full exchange initial margin for holding overnight (not used for intraday liquidation)
Excess Initial Margin	Margin remaining under full exchange margin requirements (useful if you're holding positions overnight)
