this is when trying to import an indicator. This is a brand new install (the second time as I disabled ondrive uninstalled moved files over and reinstalled (was getting same error with onedrive path).
The ....\Import\Backup directory exists but is empty

If you have already done the steps to stop One Drive from backing up the documents folder, then you should just need follow the steps below and be ready to import your add-ons again:

Begin by moving the tmp Folder to the Desktop:

• Close NinjaTrader
• Go to the Documents Folder > NinjaTrader 8, tmp Folder. Click and Drag this folder and drop it on the Desktop.

Now, follow the steps below to Repair the Installation of NinjaTrader:

• Close NinjaTrader
• Go to the Windows Control Panel (NOT the Apps screen) > Programs and Features (Sometimes "Uninstall a program") > Click NinjaTrader > Click "Repair"
• Click Next through the prompts until it is Finished and it is done

From here, reopen NinjaTrader and try importing the add-on again and it should work.
