Really confused on copy trading

Hey I’ve been emailing support but I figured I’d ask here to get more insight here for some reason I’m not getting a clear answer.

I have noticed tons of copy trading scripts that exist and our friend is ok with us copying his trades but he wants to make sure it’s not violating any terms of service. Apparently the copy trading is for one account trading prop firms or sub accounts or something.

If someone is using NinjaTrader trading s&p mini and has a few friends obviously different names and countries following is there any issues?


For example a ninja trader add on allows you to login with the different usernames and then it copies, asking the program makers they say they don’t know which is strange.

I don’t see anything in the ToS about this but any clarity would help thanks and definitely for others who will wonder this as well in the future.

While there is no issue with copying trades from your friends, additional log in requests to an existing account may be handled differently per the prop firm's policies. If you have a question or would clarification on this please email the prop firm directly.
