Flow problem with optimization

Hello, when I use the strategy optimizer I am constantly disconnected from the real-time stream and without the possibility of reconnecting to it. I am forced to connect to Kinetick for optimization. Why can't I have the real-time stream? I contacted the stream service, after checking they saw nothing abnormal.

I tried to submit the problem via the platform by email chat, but I constantly get an error message so I am posting my concern in the forum.

I am not clear what the question is here, the analyzer is a historical data tool and not a realtime tool, a data connection is only needed for getting historical data. Do you see that you cannot connect to a data feed with the SampleMACrossOver or just your custom strategy?

If you cannot use the realtime data feed or email that may be a problem with the computer being used or internet connection as well.

Hello, the problem is that I can't connect to the data stream other than kinetick while the optimizer is running. It's not my connection. Is it because of too high "traffic", excessive tape draw?

Hello Max238,

Are you doing a test where all of your PC's resources are being used? That may be a reason for the platform not being able to connect while testing. The data should otherwise be able to be connected to or used while doing a backtest/optimization.

It's a clue indeed, but it's hard to say. Oh well, I'll do without...
