Time-based alerts <sigh> again.

I several questions about time based alerts:
1. Looking at this link which describes how to set up a time-based alert, in no way does it describe how to actually create the alert.
2. The ending "object" under conditions features the date and time, but in the real world in NT8 there is no date (only the time)...
3. ... Which begs the question is this why my alerts are not working? (the auditory alert does not sound off)
4. I see in the example that it features "Begin Session Break" but, again, does not explain why that example is used or how the alert is created with this.

Has do you want to actually gotten time based alerts to work?
