How to move a tab from one chart to another chart?

Just moved from Ninja 7 to Ninja 8 for execution and want to know how to move a tab from one chart to another chart? Thanks

    Hello DeskTroll,

    Thank you for the message.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to move a tab from one window to another already created window.
    • Pleas feel free to submit this as a feature request using the following link - Feature Request Form

If you right-click on the chart tab, you will see the few options you do have.
    • "Duplicate in new window" is the closest feature to that at this time.

You could also duplicate the entire window with all of the tabs, and then remove the additional tabs from the window that you don't want anymore:
    • Right-click on the word "Chart" in the top left corner of your chart window > Click Duplicate window
    • Then, remove the additional tabs from the new chart as desired.

Please let us know if we may provide any further assistance.

      Hi Clayton,

I see this feature was requested years ago repeatedly, is there a reason why it has never been added?

        Hello DeskTroll,

        Thank you for the update.

Deciding on features for future releases is not a simple black-and-white decision. There are many factors involved including but not limited to:
        • Demand which is measured by objective user requests and subjective discretion on the part of our Product Management team.
        • Feasibility
        • Developer bandwidth
        • Current projects in the queue
        • Economics

You'll find a note regarding your feature request in the Release Notes when a feature is implemented.

Please let us know if we may provide any further assistance.

You can save the tab as a template and load it from within another chart.
