    Coinbase Data Feed Not Working with Ninjatrader Data Feed

    Hello,

    I have a single chart that has both BTCUSD and MBT as Data series. I have both Coinbase and Ninjatrader data feeds available. If I choose Coinbase or ninjatrader by themselves, the data feed works fine. But as soon as I connect the Ninjatrader data feed and the Coinbase data feed at the same time, the coinbase data feed stops working. If I disconnect the Ninjatrader feed, the Coinbase one starts working again. I have the Multi-provider option selected already.

    Here are the error codes in the log.

    "There was a problem subscribing to tick data for BTCUSD: 'Symbol is inaccessible'
    "There was a problem subscribing to market data for BTCUSD: 'Symbol is inaccessible'

    Once again, when both are connected, only the ninjatrader one works. I have to disconnect the ninjatrader feed to get the coinbase one to work. This is extremely undesirable if I want to use BTC as my strategy source but trade MBT.

    Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you for the message.

    After testing this myself, I have found that the "NinjaTrader" connection type is incorrectly thinking it can provide "Cryptocurrency" data and preventing Coinbase from providing it.

    I am reporting this to the Development team to address in a future update.


    Until then, there are two workarounds:
    1. Connect to the Coinbase connection 1st. Then connect to the "NinjaTrader" connection 2nd.
    2. Or, go to the Preferred Connections and set the Real-time and Historical provider for Cyptocurrencies to "Coinbase" > Then click OK and Restart NinjaTrader
    ​​​​​​​Once these changes are made, the real-time data for both should continue to update.

      Thank you Clayton. The first option did not work for me, but the second option worked great. Appreciate the help and glad to see there is a way to fix this.
