Candle Formation

Hello Team,

I scalp on 1 minute and noticed a huge difference when comparing Ninja trader 8 to the Tradovate web platform. There is a lag of a few milliseconds.

Is there a fix for this?

I have found a work around but that is not a permanent solution. Please try it yourself. Place a limit sell order and attach it to the 1 EMA, add an offset of 100 ticks or the order will be filled. ema should calculate on each tick. The candle formations have no lag when that order is active.

Please advise how can I achieve such candle formation without having to attach the order to an indicator.

Generally you can expect the NinjaTrader platform and the Web platform to behave slightly differently as these operate on completely different underlying technologies. NinjaTrader Desktop is also PC resource dependent to function while the Web platform just requires a stable internet connection since everything is server side.
