Problem with downloading data from 2020-2023

Good morning community !

Issue with Backtesting in Strategy Analyzer (NinjaTrader)

While running a backtest in Strategy Analyzer for the date range 01.01.2023 - present, I noticed that the backtest only starts from March 2024.

I then tried loading a normal chart and selected Custom Day Range, but the issue persisted – data is only available from March 2024.

Additionally:

• I attempted to download historical data, but the download progress bar disappeared, and the Download option remained disabled.

Question


Are there any global limitations on historical data availability in NinjaTrader that could be causing this issue?

So I may look into this further can you tell me what data provider you are connecting to within NinjaTrader and what instrument you have selected.

I use free market data. I don't have a subscription and MNQ

The CME Micro E-mini instruments such as MNQ, MES, etc. began trading on the CME Exchange in November of 2023 therefore additional data will not be available for these instruments.
