Limit the lenght of Horizontal Lines

I use Horizontal Lines a lot for backtesting to mark key levels for specific days, so i have to delete them for the next day so the chart is not a mess, and when I get back to backtesting I have to draw them again, and then delete them again, and so on. I want to keep the horizontal lines, so i don't have to draw them again everytime i want to backtest, so I want these to start and stop at the beggining and end of that day, there's any way to do this via script?
I know i can use the Line but the process to draw a horizontal line is slower and implicate more steps, draw the line first, then click it again and hold ****, scroll the chart, etc.

Thank you for posting on the NinjaTrader forums.


There are a couple of ways you can go about this- you could possibly do this via NinjaScript but not sure how involved this would be. If you haven't done so already, you check via the NinjaTrader Ecosystem to see if this is something a programmer can assist you with.



Additionally, what you can also do is create the lines you are looking for and then go to its properties to change its data points.






Instead of having to manually go to change the length of the line and meet your needs, this would be a good alternative.

that is a very slow proccess, drawing lines on key levels and modifying each line every day for months, that's why I need a horizontal line, just pressing a hotkey on key lvl
