Issue Importing Historical Data before 2008

Dear NinjaTrader Support Team,

I am experiencing an issue when attempting to import historical market data into NinjaTrader. Specifically, I can successfully import data from 2008 onward without any problems, but any data before 2008 fails to import, displaying "0 data successfully imported."

Details of the Issue:

The data format is correct, as I purchased these files and ensured that both older (pre-2008) and newer (post-2008) data have identical formats.

I have confirmed that file names and content structures are consistent across different years.

I tested renaming a 2005 file to mimic a 2025 file (without changing its content), and it successfully imported. This suggests that NinjaTrader is filtering out older data based on the filename.

This issue occurs for both individual contract data (e.g., ES 2004-09.Last) and continuous contract data (e.g., ES ##-##.Last), where any data before 2008 is entirely omitted in the import process.

Is there a built-in restriction in NinjaTrader that prevents importing data from before a certain year?

Is there a workaround or specific setting that would allow importing older historical data?
