Lost Market Cap Data in Market Analyzer After Database/Instrument List Update

Absolutely! Here's the English translation of your question, ready for the NinjaTrader forum:

Subject: Lost Market Cap Data in Market Analyzer After Database/Instrument List Update

    Hi everyone,

I'm experiencing a frustrating issue with Market Analyzer. Yesterday, after updating the database and instrument lists in NinjaTrader 8, I lost all Market Cap data for the Nasdaq 100 companies I have loaded in Market Analyzer.

The Market Cap field is completely empty for all 100 companies. I've tried refreshing the data, restarting NinjaTrader, and even re-adding the instruments to the list, but nothing seems to work.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any suggestions on how to restore the Market Cap data?

    Hello HGTrader ,

    Thank you for reaching out.

When you say you completed a "Database/Instrument List Update" are you referring to these steps?:

    To reset your instruments:
    1. Disconnect from any active connections in the Control Center > Connections dropdown
    2. Go to the Control Center > Tools > Database Management window
    3. Under the “Update instruments” section, ensure the “General properties”, "Futures expiries" and “Symbol mappings” options are checked and then click 'Update'
    4. Restart NinjaTrader, and then test for this behavior again

If you have not yet completed the steps above, please do so.

    If the issue persists afterward:

Please send in your log and trace files so that we may look more into what may be occurring.

You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support

Make sure to categorize your request at the top.

Ensure 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

If you could also provide a screenshot of what you are seeing, that would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance, we look forward to helping resolve this issue for you.
