Getting stopped into order when price never touches my stop

This has happened a couple times now, where I get stopped into an order even though prices never hit my stop.. You can see that at 1:30:39pm I got filled on a stop market order at 6078.75, but prices never hit that level until 12 minutes later..

How am I getting stopped into a buy order when the price never touches my stop?

Do you have the stop set to "stop" or "stop limit"?

      Hello,

      Thank you for the message.

Please make sure you aren't trading on Delayed Data.
      • Go to the Control Center > Log tab
      • Check to make sure there are no updates saying that the data is delayed for the ES 03-25.
        • If so, this could explain why the orders are not showing as expected.

If the data is in Real-time, please use the steps below to sync your PC's internal clock that NinjaTrader's Charts use for its timestamps.
      • Shutdown NinjaTrader
      • Right-click on the clock in the lower-right corner of your desktop
      • Select "Adjust date and time"

For Windows 10, select 'Date, Time, and regional formatting' > 'Additional date, time, and regional settings' > 'Set the time and date'
      • Select the 'Internet Time' tab at the top
      • Set the server to time.nist.gov and click "Update".
      • If the message that appears says successful your PC clock should now be updated.
      • If not, select a different server from the Server: drop-down and try again (repeat until one of the servers is successful)

For Windows 11, select Sync Now under Additional Settings. We would also recommend enabling your computer to set the time and the time zone automatically if they are not already enabled.

After updating the PC clock, reopen NinjaTrader, then right-click in the Chart and select "Reload All Historical Data".

This will not fix the timestamps of prior orders, but it should have any new ones placed line up as expected.

Please let us know if we may be of further assistance.
