Real-time VIX from Charles Schwab: how to do this?

Hi there! I am so grateful you guys got Schwab API to work. I am interested in using the Schwab VIX data because it's free, since VIX is not really included with Continuum (I think you can access it but you have to refresh the data to see the chart develop). Is there any trick to get the Schwab VIX data to plot real-time? This would be very helpful!

I am unaware if VIX is something that is available to use on NinjaTrader through the Schwab adapter. If it's meant to work it should be a matter of creating a chart on it as you'd normally expect. On the other hand, VIX is available the way you mentioned in your post with an active market data subscription.
