strategy improve with the time of the candles

Hi ,

I have one strategy with stop loss = 30 ticks
when i try to optimaze i see that the profit factor increase more and more when the time of the candles increase


Where can be the mistake?

I am not sure I understand what you are asking here, are you saying that the results of the strategy change when you change the dataseries settings?

you can see in the picture , when date series value = 10 minutes --> the result is 1,2 performance
when data series value = 16 minutes --> Perfomance = 1,29
...
more i increse the data siries value the result is better

this is not realistic

what could be the problem?

Hello emiferariz,

Those values are based on the execution information from each test, if the value is increasing that would indicate for that specific test the values that were observed resulted in that amount. It is possible that by increasing the value there are less trades leading to a more profitable result, you would have to view the execution information for each test to know how that is affecting the results.
