    Volume Profile isn't working

    My volume profile is showing huge gaps in the data. Please help.

    Thank you for the message.

    If you right-click on the chart and select "Reload all historical data", does it fill the gaps?

    If not, please perform the following test:
    • Go to the Control Center > New > Chart
    • Select the ES 03-25
    • Make it a 1-minute chart
    • Set the 'Days to load' to 5
    • Make sure 'Template' in the top-right corner is set to < None >
    • Set the Time frame > Trading hours > To "Default 24x7"
    • Click OK to make the chart
      • Now, apply the same Volume Profile over the same time span, does it behave the same way?
        • If no, then this would mean something else on the original chart is causing this to happen.
          • You could either add things back to the new chart 1-by-1 until the behavior comes back to find what is causing it
          • Or, remove things from the original chart 1-by-1 until it goes away. The only downside is that sometimes a chart window can become outright corrupted from this and removing everything never resolves it.
            • So, that is the benefit of trying to replicate it on a new chart instead.
        • If yes, the behavior continued, please continue below to remove all of the Historical Data and re-download it fresh.

    If the behavior is still happening on the test chart, please use the following steps to remove all of the old Historical Data from the platform and re-download the data new:
    • Close NinjaTrader
    • Go to the Documents folder > NinjaTrader 8 > db, this folder holds all of the historical data
      • Delete the following folders:
        • Tick
        • Minute
        • Day
        • Cache
          • Do NOT delete any other files or folders
      • After Deleting these folders, reopen NinjaTrader and it will make New ones automatically.
    ​Reopen NinjaTrader > Connect to data > Wait for the charts to load in, it will take a little longer than normal since it has to re-download all of that Tick data.
    • Does the behavior continue?

    If the behavior continues, please take a screenshot of your Chart Settings, the entire chart like your last photo, and the Order Flow Volume Profile's settings again.
