It still doesn't work properly and it seems to me like no one cares.
So I tried connecting via cTrader connection and guess what, ... it doesn't work.. I even changed my broker account to Netting type.
They are such a bunch of amateurs with these data connectors, it's unbelievable.
So again NT CS, is there a possibility to create and manage own data connector?

After more than three weeks of correspondence with FXCM, when they told me that they had to talk to the technical department of NT, still nothing..
I don't know what's going on with them, but below it is clearly visible that they provide different data. In the video image, comparing updates in single platforms/tools that they did not explain to me.
      In comparison:
      - FXCM API tool from SDK
      - NT platform which probably uses this API
      - FXCM TS platform
      - TradingView
I also compared with Quantower for example - where the data was close to the API values.
It is quite frustrating that this problem has been around since the end of January and it seems that no one really cares.Click image for larger version

after starting NT, volumes from historical data are quite similar, different platform FXCM chart, as soon as there is more realtime data, the increasing difference in volume is noticeable
it's amazing that these kinds of issues happen every FOMC week

Tthanks for the post, but I don't know where you're going with this?
I'm trying to point out that the data from the same provider has different values in NT than in the native or officially supported FXCM platform, from my point of view it seems to me that they are wrong, that's why I asked both NT and FXCM to check the data adapter or API
My research suggests that there is a problem with the API, since the tool from the SDK shows the same values as NT - but as in the beginning, I tried to contact someone who understands the issue better and has access to such things - unfortunately after 1.5 months of writing and explaining I didn't get anywhere - I don't understand at all how this can be possible in such a business

It seems that this is not going anywhere. Although I am still writing in the right places. Unfortunately, I and not only I, have invested a lot of time and effort into the NT platform - I have created useful indicators, but in the end everything is falling apart now with the fact that I do not have functional data in NT. The adapters that I use, that I would like to use, are currently either not working properly or not at all. I understand that it is not easy to produce and maintain such a wide range of connection options. But what options do I/we have?
In older threads I found a mention of the OpenConnect program.
"Only those that are in our OpenConnect program would have access to materials to build Connection Adapters." is this still valid? What needs to be done for this?

Dear NT customer support, are you there? Or are you simply ignoring topics that you don't want to deal with?
Can you please explain to me what "supported by NT" on this page means?

Since the beginning of the new year, it seems to me that the meaning of this has changed for you, although I recently received an email in which a senior NT representative assures me that nothing has changed for us customers in the area of quality and scope of services provided.
If the scope of supported (I mean correctly functioning) data adapters changes, do we have the opportunity to manage "unsupported ones" it ourselves at our own expense? Or is it simply bad luck, the NT platform is no longer for you, because you will not get the necessary data in the required quality and our investment in the NT platform will be lost?

After many, many emails with FXCM, it seems that they have corrected the volume values (number of updates) via the ForexConnect API that affect LIVE data - i.e. FXCM adapter in NT now provides values comparable to values in other platforms of the same provider. Unfortunately, another problem has appeared, namely jams and jumps in price development. This is also reported and the latest info I have is that they have found the source of the problem and are working on a fix.
I will not forgive myself for the remark. Personally, I am really disappointed with NT's approach. When it comes to a really complex problem, they beat you with meaningless reasons or explanations, in some cases they do not communicate at all.
