Straight horizontal segments via line tool

Hello everyone, I have just started my journey with NinjaTrader and am using NinjaTrader 8 desktop version. I am struggling to figure out, to draw a straight horizontal line segment. I did read about holding SHIFT key after first point; but it doesn't work on my latest Desktop Version of NT8. Could someone help please. Thanks in advance.

I'm unable to recreate the same behavior you've mentioned, I press and hold the SHIFT key on my keyboard after the first point and extend the line using my mouse. Are you using NinjaTrader version 8.1.4.1?

It works for me also. 8.1.4.1, Windows 11.

Thanks all! I am using 8.1.4.1 and Windows 11. Tried again, still unable to create - strange. I will need the tech team to look into it I guess.

For what it's worth, I have my 'Snap Mode' set to bar.

Thanks Luis. So is mine. It still doesn't work. I will shut down the NT desktop and see whether upon restart, it works.

Did you figure this out? I noticed when using NT via parallels, the shift + line tool doesn't work, even though the shift key is perfectly mapped.. But with my PC it works fine.
