Hello, the Net change display indicator for NQ gives a reading of +1.14% currently, while trading view and CME direct are giving a reading of 1.43%. Why is there such a difference?

While our support wouldn't have any insight as to how this is calculated on other platforms like TradingView, you can take a look at the code for how this is calculated internally in NinjaTrader by looking at the NetChangeDisplay indicator's code in the NinjaScript Editor.

I would suggest reaching out to TradingView directly if you have have questions about how they calculate the net change.

Hello. Why would I ask TradingView how the calculate it given they are reporting the exact same rate of change as CME?

I found some older threads on the topic and seems like NinjaTrader is Calculating it on close rather than settlement price. There's an edited indicator in this thread also.
