nt8 ninja editor no paste strategy ninjascript option

hello nt8 support

how to paste a ninja script code on ninja editor. when i open it i don't see create new all see new strategy then force me to go through options no type or paste any code. if you are familiar with tradingview you can simply create code then write from scratch or paste your code.

Please start by watching the 'NinjaScript Editor 401' training video.

To create a new strategy in the NinjaScript Editor right-click on the Strategies folder, then select New Strategy, provide a new unique name, then click Generate.

thanks for your reply but i am afraid it doesn't answer my inquiry, i am not asking how to learn coding i am asking if there is an option to paste ninjascript code like on tradingview. just blank coding template to write or paste any code for strategy or indicator. do you have that option? if yes please show me in clear steps. if not what's the alternative i found on google to paste the script on notepad, then save as cs then compromise then import ninjascript now i tried this option but the issue i see this message "selected file was made from an older, incompatible version of ninjatrader or is not a ninjascript archive"

Yes, you can paste code into a NinjaScript by creating a new script in the NinjaScript Editor using the instructions I've provided in post # 2.

I've given a link to helpful page on getting started with C# and NinjaScript so that you can learn how to make a new script. Once you have an understanding of NinjaScript you'll know how to create a new script and where to paste code in to the proper override methods.
