NT8.0.28.0 + TWS10.33.1b is not displaying live chart data

    NT8.0.28.0 + TWS10.33.1b is not displaying live chart data

    I am using NT 8.0.28.0 (Lifetime License) with the recommended version of TWS 10.33.1b downloaded from https://support.ninjatrader.com/s/ar...language=en_US

    I updated TWS 10.23.2a to TWS 10.33.1b because of IB warning that 10.23.2a version wont be supported anymore by March 20, 2025

    NT 8.0.28.0 works fine with TWS 10.23.2a but is not displaying live data on charts anymore when connected with TWS 10.33.1b.

    Charts (for ES MNQ MES etc) are stuck in "loading data" forever when connecting NT 8.0.28.0 to IB TWS 10.33.1b. I waited at least 30 min and the charts are frozen with "loading data" status written on the top left-corner.

    Nothing has changed except the update to TWS 10.33.1b.

    I also restarted the PC but the problem persists.

    I kept both version of TWS and am now back to using TWS 10.23.2a to be able to load and display live data charts from IB TWS.



    Can anybody help to get NT 8.0.28.0 to work with IB TWS 10.33.1b ? the IB connection guide linked above says that they should be working.

    I also see that the image for the setup of API settings on TWS 10.33.1b is for the old version and is not showing some of the new options for the API settings menu in TWS 10.33.1b.
    Can you post a new API settings image for TWS 10.33.1b ?

    Can you confirm that NT 8.0.28.0 is working with TWS 10.33.1b on your side and you can view live charts when connecting NT 8.0.28.0 with WS 10.33.1b ?

    Thank you for posting on the NinjaTrader forums.


    I'd like you to send your log and trace files to our Technical Support team at clientservices@ninjatrader[dot]com. Instructions on how to get these files posted below:
    1. Press the "Windows Key + E" on your keyboard to open the Windows File Explorer.
    2. Go to Documents/NinjaTrader
    3. Left-click on the "log" folder to highlight it.
    4. Right-click and select "Compress to ZIP file"
    5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 with the "trace" folder
    6. Send these .zip files as attachments to your email response.
