NinjaScript Editor change after December update

Has there been any changes in the behavior of the editor in the December update? I just upgraded the platform this morning and now my editor seems to randomly not display the last 20 or so lines. I can only see the rest of my code by scrolling down, which is highly annoying since I need all screen real estate in the editor. I am on Windows 11 24H2 update.

    Hello mgin98,

    Thank you for your post.

There was no changes to NinjaScript Editor in the Release Notes for the latest update (8.1.4.1), we also haven't received any reports so far of other users experiencing this. 8.1.4.0 did have an update that upgraded the Editor for C# 9, but nothing to change the way it displays.

Are you only experiencing this after upgrading to 8.1.4.1? What version of NinjaTrader were you using before?

      Hi Gaby,

The last update I did was August last year so maybe it was 8.1.3.1. I was working in the Editor this morning prior to the update and had to reboot my system and upgraded after seeing the upgrade notification (which I'd denied several times before). So, it was literally like everything was completely normal beforehand and after the upgrade, it was the first thing I noticed since I went right back into the editor. I backed up my NT folders before the upgrade so maybe I can try rolling back to 8.1.3.1 to see if that fixes it. Let me know if you have any other suggestions. thanks

        Hello,

I would first test out rolling back to 8.1.3 and see if the issue stops. If the issue is isolated to 8.1.4 it would be helpful to know.

Let me know the results of that test and we can go from there.

Rolling back to 8.1.3.1 seems to have resolved the issue. I may try upgrading again when I have some free time to see it the issue is reproduce.

          Thanks

            Hello mgin98,

Thank you for testing that out.

If you're interested in continuing this inquiry at some point, let us know and we can do further testing. The next steps would be to test on a clean install.
