    IBKR TWS recommend version for NT is begin discontinued.

    Hello, I'm using the Multi Broker add-on with TWS for sometime now. It works well.

    However, Today I got a notification from IBKR saying that the version that works with NinjaTrader as recommend on your support page. 10.23.2a, cannot be used anymore after March.

    I wonder if the devs at NT8 would be so kind as to update the software so we can use a newer version of TWS so there is no interruption for users who are connecting ninjatrader to TWS.

    As I recall. Newer versions of TWS after 10.23.2a don't interact with NT correctly and submit orders.

    Thank you for the message.

    Please visit the NinjaTrader - Interactive Brokers connection guide as the update/change has already been made:Uninstall the version of TWS currently on your PC and then download and install the version from within the connection guide above.
    • The link in the guide above has been modified to not auto-update off of the supported version. So, make sure to use that link for the download.

    From there, you should be ready to reconnect to your account and keep using the platform.​​​​​​​​

      Hello, thanks for this. Just FYI, the version of the gateway recommended on that page is also getting a warning.

        Hi everyone. Just updated TWS. Latest version was 10.33.1e, not 1b. Everything appears to be OK, but since US markets are closed today, won't know for sure until tomorrow... TSX connection appears to be working fine on TWS and NinjaTrader.

          what version of NT8 are you using with TWS 10.33.1e ?

          I am using NT8.0.28.0 (standalone licence key version prior to the "sign-in with NT account" migration) with TWS 10.33.1b and it is not displaying live charts when connecting.

          But it is working fine with the older TWS10.23.2a version that is being discontinued by IB
