Difference between NinjaTrader & TradingView footprint chart

Hi,

I found difference between NinjaTrader and TradingView footprint chart.
On the attached photo you can find the difference in time (5 min) and difference in data at each tick.
The OHLC data is the same.
Why are those differences?

Based on my understanding, TradingView does not offer historical bid/ask data, which makes it unclear how they generate a footprint chart.
As a result, its accuracy may be questionable. By contrast, platforms such as NinjaTrader provide both real-time and historical bid/ask data, ensuring more reliable footprint charts.
In my tests comparing popular footprint tools—including mzPack, TradeDevils, NinjaTrader’s OrderFlow+, Sierra Chart’s Numbers Study, and the TradeDevils Footprint indicator for both Sierra Chart and NinjaTrader—all of them displayed consistent numbers.
The only platform with different results was TradingView, which likely stems from the absence of comprehensive historical bid/ask data.

There are a number of reasons why data can be expected to look a little different across market data providers. This is further documented in the following Help Guide article.


While I don't have access to the indicators that EB Worx has provided it looks like Tradingview does offer some more information on how the footprint chart is calculated here.
