    I Set an order with ATM but it filled without the ATM.

    Hi everyone
    I blew up 3 accounts yesterday because ATM didn't worked. 2 completely new PA, first order . One was my first 150K! 9000$ to pass is very hard as you all know.
    So I decided to enter buy limit order, ATM set to 25/50 and it even marked that Lighting symbol at the ATM window. I turned off my computer knowing I'm safe. Later on the market drop hard. All 3 accounts blew up! eval + 2 PA's: 50K & 150K . So I understand you have an explanation that we all need to be aware of:
    Rythmic accounts save the info on the client computer and not on the cloud...and if you're offline etc.
    We all expect pro trading platforms to fill orders.
    Its basic technology to expect from Ninja Trader (which I consider the best platform out there)
    But even if so: If I was offline and you didn't get the ATM than how come you got that order filled???
    (I remind you that my computer was offline after setting it, no gap in time or any live order at shut down)
    I expect your immediate help please to recover those accounts. The details will sent right away to that email: [email protected]
    Lastly, for the benefit of us all,
    please be kind to explain how should we enter limit orders with ATM while going offline after. That's a crucial issue that we all need to know, and if its not safe or doable we should all have that red flag published bright and clear.

    Thank you for posting on the NinjaTrader forums.

    Please try sending your request to clientservices@ninjatrader[com] along with your Log and Trace files. Instructions on how to send these files below:
    1. Press the "Windows Key + E" on your keyboard to open the Windows File Explorer.
    2. Go to Documents/NinjaTrader
    3. Left-click on the "log" folder to highlight it.
    4. Right-click and select "Compress to ZIP file"
    5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 with the "trace" folder
    6. Send these .zip files as attachments to your email response.

    Additionally, please include the affected order ID(s) so we can identify these within your log files.

      When you place a limit order on a Rithmic prop account, that order will execute when your computer is off. You can test this simply by placing a limit order, turning off your computer, and check R Trader Pro to see the pending limit order is still active. BUT the ATM (profit target and stop loss) depend on NinjaTrader being open so will only execute if your computer is on, NinjaTrader open, and connected to the Rithmic connection without interruption.

      This is why I switched to using ninjamobiletrader vps years ago, because on their vps the ATM will always execute so I'm always protected with the profit targets and stop loss. Over the years this has saved me countless times when my spectrum internet went out at the worst possible times, and always saved me from blowing PA accounts. Also I can place a limit order overnight, turn off my computer and go to sleep, and the ATM will execute on the VPS regardless of my internet.
