NT8 desktop, how should it be used?

Is it true that NT8 software now requires payment to use? Can I still access the free Rithmic data source as before?

I don't understand how NT8 is used now. Do I need to pay to use the NT8 desktop? Can the free version connect to rithmic data?

Thank you for posting.

You may use NinjaTrader in simulation mode for free with a supported broker or data provider. Rithmic based connections are only supported with a supported broker that uses this connection technology which when connecting in NinjaTrader uses "Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage". If you are trading with a NinjaTrader Brokerage account you may trade live for free however if you are trading with a 3rd party brokerage this would require a Multi broker subscription to trade live.
