Hello Thomas01100 ,
Thank you for reaching out.
Unfortunately, pivots do not work with Tick Replay in NinjaTrader because pivots are basic indicators that only use current and previous daily price levels. Tick Replay is an advanced feature that processes historical market data in the exact order it occurred, which is most beneficial for indicators that rely on the exact sequence of trades.
When using Tick Replay in NinjaTrader, certain indicators and objects, like Weekly and Monthly pivots, may not display correctly due to how Tick Replay processes data. This behavior can occur because of:- Indicator Settings: Weekly and Monthly pivots often rely on historical data to calculate levels. If Tick Replay is active, it might not access or render the necessary historical data properly.
- Data Series Configuration: The required data for Weekly or Monthly calculations might not be fully loaded or processed when using Tick Replay, especially if "Days to Load" settings are insufficient or improperly configured.
To troubleshoot this issue, follow these steps:- Check Data Loading Settings:
- Go to the Data Series settings of your chart and ensure enough historical data is being loaded. For example, set "Days to Load" to include enough days for calculating Weekly or Monthly pivots.
- Verify Indicator Properties:
- Open the indicator settings and ensure they are configured to calculate pivots over the correct data range.
- Test Without Tick Replay:
- Disable Tick Replay in your chart to see if the pivots display correctly. This will help identify if Tick Replay is causing the issue.
- Historical Data Reload:
- Right-click on the chart and select "Reload All Historical Data" to ensure all data is up-to-date.
- Alternative Charts:
- If the issue persists, try creating a new chart with the same settings but without Tick Replay, to confirm if the issue is chart-specific.
I look forward to assisting you further!

Thank you for your reply. I resolved the problem by adding additional days to load that I needed without Tick Replay.Last edited by Thomas01100; 01-03-2025, 07:03 PM.
