Margin display before opening a position

Hello everyone,

I am looking for the setting on the platform where I can see the current margin BEFORE I open a position in the market.

Under "Accounts" I only see the margin once the position has been opened.
To be able to do effective money management, I need the margin information before opening the position.

According to Ninja Trader, the margin can change at any time due to high volatility. I need this information before I open a position. If I only see the increased margin when I am in the market, this information is superfluous.

How do I find this setting?

Thank you for reaching out.

Unfortunately there is no option to display margin requirements before you are in a position on NT8 Desktop.

Intraday margins apply during the hours of 5:00pm CT (Session open) until 3:45pm CT (the next day).
