Unhandled Exception errors - UI.xml & _Workspaces.xml errors

I keep getting these error pop-ups that the files UI.xml and _Workspaces.xml are "being used by other processes". As as result I cannot open up a new chart, for example, or also save workspace changes. I tried various suggestions given to me by the chatbot including reinstalling NT8, manually force closing running processes and restarting program. From what I can tell, a major issue seems to be that the Documents folder where the NinjaTrader8 folder is stored is actually within a OneDrive folder. So if these files are being used by "other processes", it might be related to the ongoing sync processes of the OneDrive folder. But I also tried to turn off auto-sync but it does not permit me to set such permissions for this folder. I tried to move the NinjaTrader8 folder out of OneDrive folder but then NT8 app does not start up. Anyone else getting this same issue and if so, any solutions?
