However, on my new PC:
NinjaTrader shows a yellow light when attempting to connect to Interactive Brokers via IB Gateway.
IB Gateway no longer auto-fills my username and password. I have to manually enter them.
Even after manually logging into IB Gateway, NinjaTrader hangs at the yellow light and fails to connect unless I first log in to IB Gateway separately.
Once I manually log into IB Gateway first and then connect NinjaTrader to Interactive Brokers, I can see my accounts. However, as soon as I place an entry trade, I get disconnected, and the following error message appears:
"My Interactive Brokers; Lost or unable to establish communications with IB TWS/GW. Please verify TWS/GW is running on the target machine and try reconnecting or contact support if the issue persists. (panic)"
The trades did go through, and I had to log into my interactive broker mobile app to manually close them.
