I can't with this platform...

Despite the functionality of the platform, that i'm trying to adapt. Let say that's my problem.

What about performance?

It seems an i5 with 6 cores and 12 threads with 16gb ram isn't enough. AT ALL. Adding third party indicators, or type bars, bla bla bla... lagging chart. And yes I tried clear cache etc etc.

So... how I can IMPROVE A LOT this platform to run smoothly as Sierra Chart for example.

Not a problem to change my motherboard, cpu and ram.. because my gpu is near a top one.

No problem. Do i need cores? 12, 32? the more the better? Do i need 64gb ram?

PLEASE tell me which hardware will make this platform smooth so i do not have to to see my cursor lagging while dragging a chart. Could you imagine trying to open a position with a limit order?

PLEASE HELP.

If you are experiencing delays or unwanted behaviors within your platform, then it would be best to reach out to the Support Team directly with your log and trace files so that we can investigate further:

• Within NinjaTrader, go to the Control Center > Help > Email Support...
• To: Set this to "Platform Technical Support"
• Subject: Copy and paste the Forum URL
• Attach: Attach a file, picture, or compressed file to share multiple files/pictures
• Body: Include any other information you would like to share on the situation
• Make sure 'Log and Trace files' is checked to include the requested files

As NinjaTrader Support, we are not trained on various computer components or how they would affect the computer and platform's performance. The most we can do is recommend that you meet or exceed the "Recommended Specifications" within the Help Guide:

• Minimum and Recommended PC Specifications

If you are using the Default NinjaTrader platform without any 3rd party add-ons brought in, I would think the computer specifications you describe would be able to run NinjaTrader pretty smoothly.

• In Default NinjaTrader, if you use multiple Tick-based interval charts and multiple Order Flow + indicators on those charts, these can push things pretty hard and the PC/Platform fall behind.
• But otherwise, if you are only using a few charts and indicators, we would expect this to work just fine.

If you are using 3rd party add-ons or automated NinjaScript Strategies, then you would want to do some testing to verify 100% what is causing the delays so that you don't spend a bunch of money on PC upgrades that do not affect the performance only to find out there was a setting or mis-configured add-on causing the delays.

• If you test the Workspace in Safe Mode and the PC's CPU, DISK, or RAM are hitting 100% usage in the Task manager, then it could justify getting new PC components.
