    Candlestick Rendering / Time & Sales lag out of no where?

    Only trade NQ futures. Woke up this week and fired up my rig like usual with tons of unresolved issues even after working remotely with NT tech support today.

    Candlestick formation and time and sales print both coming through very choppy as if I changed the playback speed to 0.25x

    No issues prior to this week, no changes with hardware or software in and out of NT8 on my end were made. At first thought it was a data feed issue. did a fresh install on both NT as well as RT Pro. Syncd RT clock. Cleared NT cache and other bloated folders. Tested naked charts with no indicators, no fix. Ran NT's utilization monitor for 20 minutes. Most CPU was going to "candlesticks" which obviously is not a third party indicator. No alterations prior to issue were made and still cannot find fix.

    Chart develops real time, can enter and exit on entries fine (no lag on fills) but the RENDERING of the candlesticks and the tape prints is SLOW and choppy which simply will not work with any chart, let alone how volotile the nature of NQ is. Do not wish to go and find another broker at this moment in time but all other options have been exausted. Wanted to pop in here and pick peoples brains and I know others have experienced similar issues with little to no resolve. Although the NT tech was super helpful - he was even stumped. With no changes prior to the issue made on my end and running through every possible scenario all week after the issues surfaced with no resolution I am officially stumped as to what it could be. Would love to get a thread started on anyone who has experienced similar issues in the past. Thanks.

    Thank you for posting.

    To clarify are you connecting to Rithmic for NinjaTrader Brokerage? If so are you running both NinjaTrader and Rithmic Trader Pro at the same time? If yes when logging into Rithmic Trader Pro can you tell me if you have "Aggregated Quotes" On or Off? Lastly within your connection settings in NinjaTrader can you tell me what System you have selected.

        So I may look into this further please go to Help->Email Support and be sure to include Attn: Chris Jameson in the Subject line, a link to this thread in the body and a check in the box for "Log and trace files".

            So I may look into this further please send an email to platformsupport [AT] ninjatrader [DOT] com with "ATTN: Chris Jameson" in the subject line.

            In the message, please include the following:
            1.) A link to this forum thread.
            2.) A copy of your log and trace files.

            Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your email.
            • Open your NinjaTrader folder under, "Documents" (sometimes called, "My Documents")
            • Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
            • Send the 2 compressed folders as an attachment in your email
            • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
