P&L / Position Size Box Location

Hi,

When the Chart Trader is on and I have a position, a box (attached image) would appear on the chart.

I am wondering if there is a way to move this P&L/Position Size box further to the left of the chart window?

A lot of times, this box blocks quite a few key candle bars.

Thank you for posting.

To move this box further to the left right click in the Chart Trader panel->Properties->Input a larger value for "Order display bar length (% of chart) then click Ok.

Unfortunately, in NinjaTrader 8, the P&L/Position Size box that appears when the Chart Trader is enabled cannot be directly repositioned to a different location on the chart. Its placement is fixed by the platform's design.

However, here are a couple of workarounds that might help improve visibility:

Minimize the Chart Trader panel:

You can minimize the Chart Trader on the right side of the chart to reduce clutter and focus on the chart itself. This won’t move the box but may give you a clearer view overall.
Adjust the chart margins:

Go to the Chart Properties and increase the right margin of the chart. This pushes the candles further left, providing more space around the P&L/Position Size box.
To do this, right-click on the chart, select Properties, and modify the Right-side Margin.
Disable the box temporarily:

If you don’t need to see the P&L/Position Size details during active trading, you can disable the Chart Trader view entirely by selecting Chart Trader Off from the toolbar dropdown.
