Errors on specific VPS's

Hello,

I installed a strategy and an indicator from a programmer on my vps, and get errors whenever I open the strategy window or indicator window. See attached. Programmer says some vps's dont have software to run his strategies/indicators, or the vps services block specific services (probably referring to his licensing system or obfuscation software. He showed me his vps, and it runs fine there, along with hundred of other users.

One error I got specifically mentioned a missing Agile file (obfuscation software?), but I lost the screenshot.

Any ideas?

Thank you for the message.

This normally means a file that it is looking for isn't there. However, NinjaTrader didn't make the add-on software so we cannot be sure of why the error is appearing.


You will have to keep working with the developer of the strategy to ask them why their add-on software is giving these errors and what needs to be done to resolve and avoid them moving forward.

If the developer isn't sure why, then they need to reach out to the Engineering Support team directly to get their help troubleshooting their add-on software.

• Once the Developer finds and resolves the behavior, they can then turn around and update you with that information.

Otherwise, we can provide the steps to remove the add-on software since it is causing errors within your platform.

Try sending an email to [email protected] because they always help with ninjascript errors, compiling custom addons, installing addons, etc. and I'm sure they can fix the problem for you to get it installed correctly, they always do it for me when I have conflicting addon errors.
