    Cannot load data from Interactive Brokers

    Hello,

    I am having an issue receiving data from Interactive Brokers. I can connect but the strategies cannot load data and start. In the log tab the error message "Received unknown error/warning: Advertencia: Your API version does not support fractional share size rules. Please upgrade to a minimum version 163. Trimmed value 2.32 to 2".

    My IB Gateway version is 10.23.2a.. This is the same required version in the connection guide for IB

    Thank you for reaching out.

    Not only do you need the correct version, but please make sure your TWS/API settings match the connection guide settings

    Also make sure your time zone settings within NT8 and your PC match with TWS.

    From here connect to your account and test if the charts are updating.

    If the charts are still not updating, please use the steps below to reset the instruments:
    1. Disconnect from any data providers by navigating to the Control Center > Connections menu, and left-click on “disconnect” that appears to the right when hovering your mouse over any active connection
    2. Reset your instruments by navigating to the Control Center > Tools > Database Management
    3. In the Database Management window, under the “Update instruments” section, ensure that “General properties”, "Futures expiries" and “Symbol mappings” options are checked and then click Update
    4. Restart NinjaTrader


    Reopen NinjaTrader and connect to your account/data and test if the charts are updating. If they are still not updating

    Please send in your log and trace files so that we may look more into what may be occurring.

    You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Email Support

    Make sure to categorize your request at the top.

    Ensure 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.

    If you could also provide a screenshot of what you are seeing, that would be appreciated.

      I have the same problem today. I checked the versions, and did the database reset. Restarted the computer, used my backup computer, waited for 10min and restart with a clean workspace with only one simple chart to avoid pacing violation. Unfortunately, it is still not working.

      Note it has been working for more than a year until today. I didn't change any settings before it happened.

      I have emailed log and trace to the support.

      Do other people have the same problem today? Just wonder if it is not just me and guillembm​.
