Trading Front Month

How can we trade the future front month not the current month. When I try to trade that month the price is for the current month. Hope this isn't confusing.

Thank you for posting on the NinjaTrader forums.


You can open a chart with the future expiry date by manually entering the contract code. i.e ES 03-25, ES 06-25, etc.


Note that the ability to trade the future contract will depend on your broker, as sometimes this is not allowed until we get closer until the current month's expiry.
