    Unable to add new instrument FNGU

    Hi, I tried to add FNGU (exchange NYSEARCA). I'm unable to load historical data after it was added as an instrument. Can you please advise? Thank you very much!

    If you've added FNGU to NinjaTrader but cannot load historical data, there are several steps to verify and troubleshoot:
    1. Verify Data Feed Connection:
      • Confirm that your data feed provider supports data for NYSEARCA symbols. Some providers might not include all exchanges, so double-check that NYSEARCA is covered by your subscription.
    2. Update Instrument Details:
      • Go to Control Center > Tools > Instruments and locate FNGU.
      • Select Edit to review details and ensure the symbol is correctly mapped under the “Symbol map” section for the data provider you are using (e.g., Interactive Brokers, CQG, etc.).
      • Make sure the symbol is exactly as required by the provider. Each provider might use different conventions, so verify this on the provider’s website or their support resources.
    3. Reload Historical Data:
      • Right-click on the chart or go to Control Center > Tools > Historical Data.
      • Select Reload All Historical Data. This will refresh all data from the server to your workspace and may resolve any caching issues.
    4. Check Permissions and Data Type:
      • Ensure that the data subscription includes historical data for equities on the NYSEARCA exchange. Some subscriptions only provide real-time or Level 1 data without historical access.

    If these steps don’t resolve the issue, please send a screenshot of any error messages from the Log tab in the Control Center. Additionally, to assist further, please provide your log and trace files:
    • Go to Control Center > Help > Email Support.
    • Ensure Attach log and trace files is checked and fill out the form.
