Backup size - How to reduce?

    Hi.
Over time, I've noticed that my weekly backups become larger (and take longer to execute).

Is there an easy and safe way to reduce the size of my backups?

    Thanks.

In case you’re unaware: when you export Backup file you can deselect certain file-types from the Backup. Historical data are cumulative and can become large over time. If you’re not interested in saving this you can uncheck, or, you could only include this in the backup less frequently.
You could also look through the Ninja Program and Documents folders to identify what is being backed up which is contributing to the large Backup File size

      Hello M_ichel,

As mentioned by brucerobinson when creating your backup to reduce to the size of this file you can uncheck "Historical chart data", "Log and trace files" and if not being used "Market replay".

Let me know if I may be of further assistance.
